So to pair up the WtheH Wednesdays I had to think of something to counter act possible negativity associated with my Wednesday posts. I know crazy that I should feel the need to do this but it's my blog so I'm entitled. :)
I intentionally skipped my WtheH blog for this week because the outcome of the Casey Anthony trial truly shocked me and I had to take a step back to really think about what I was going to say before I said it. However after much contemplation and venting with other like minded individuals I think it best not to comment although I have to say this: The truth ALWAYS comes to light and in the end we will ALL be accountable for our choices. I can't continue to play the Judge when it's not my place and we are ALL on the same playing field.
So I digress: I want to focus now on some things that I'm truly thankful for today, this week.
I'm thankful for my family, they are healthy and Ray has been able to spend a lot of quality time with our kids this week and I can see that this makes them very happy.
I'm thankful that I'll have another opportunity to be able to try to beat Ray at Rummy, he doesn't think it's going to happen as he's already beaten me twice this week but I can be hopeful.
I'm thankful for new born babies, my friend Corey, his wife and young daughter just welcomed a beautiful baby boy into their family and I'm so very happy for all of them.
Last but not least I'm thankful for Ray's homemade sweet tea...cause after a long day at work it's one of the most refreshing and wonderful things to drink.
God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one to say "thank you?" ~William A. Ward
Happy Thursday!
