Last year I had to really evaluate my perception of God. I've had many life changing events occur in my life that always caused me to have very extreme versions of whome I believed our creator to be. Luckily for me a close friend pointed me into the right direction where I was finally able to comprehend just how important I am, not just to my family or friends but first and foremost to God Himself. There's a lot of people that don't feel this way, many of which may feel justified because of life situations or horrible things that have happend for which there is no explanation or reason. I get it. I've been there. I catch the drift of agonizing over why? how? how dare God? I've asked those questions more times than I'd like to admit.
You are important though, even if you don't believe that the creator of the universe could care a hill of beans and He loves us all for everything we are.
